When my son was school age, I kept my fingers crossed so that he would reach at least level 5 RCM in piano and not tell me that he was bored by music. Instead, he had gone up to level 10 RCM and became a piano and guitar teacher himself!
About Oksana
Oksana (also goes by Ksenia) has an abundant love for music and teaching alike. She has played piano for 45 years, guitar for almost as many, she sings, and more recently took up both violin and flute! I wonder what instrument she will be curious about next...
Oksana received a Bachelor's Degree in pedagogy and possesses both patience and energy for teaching. She has studied locally under Dmitry Nesterov and also with Tigran Saakyan at Mount Royal University. She also happens to be a professor of Russian language, culture, and literature.
Her students all appreciate her kindness, her passion, and her exuberance, which is apparent as soon as you meet her. Ksenia has taught piano, voice, and music history since 1998, and more recently has also added guitar to that list.
