Nairilys Garcia Sogamozo (Ni)

​Nairilys started her musical journey in Venezuela, singing in the school and church choir. She took theory and piano lessons during middle and high school, played piano, sang for the school cultural events, and surrounded herself as much as possible with different musical styles. While doing her Bachelor of Music in Venezuela, she worked as an English as a Second Language teacher for kids, teenagers and adults. In 2023, she moved to Calgary to continue her education and is currently in her third year of Bachelor of Arts in Music at the University of Calgary, and she is also a member of the Calgary Philharmonic Chorus. Nairilys also works as a Princess for YYC Princess, filling children’s lives with magic, music and beautiful memories; and she hopes to help her students to fall in love with singing or playing and use music as a means of expression for themselves, but also to share it with others.
