About Gwonneung
Gwonneung Kim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Piano from Hansei University and a Master’s degree in Piano Performance from Kookmin University in Seoul, South Korea. With over six years of teaching experience, he helps students grow with confidence, expression, and a lifelong love for music. He values creating a welcoming and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable to explore and express themselves through music.
Outside of teaching, Gwonneung enjoys golf, running, F45 training, and cooking. He also loves visiting cafés and capturing everyday moments through photography. Now living in Canada, he enjoys connecting with people from different cultures and being part of a diverse, inclusive community through music.
